In National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation we catch up with the disaster prone Griswold family for a festive dose of goofball, slapstick comedy of chaos and catastrophe. This time, Clark (Chevy Chase) and Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo) prepare for a quiet, traditional Christmas with the kids Audrey (Juliette Lewis) and Rusty (Roseanne star Johnny Galecki), when their home is invaded by backwoods cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) and his brood.
Complications, of course, are inevitable, turning the Griswolds' Christmas holiday into anything but an occasion for peace on earth and there's certainly not much goodwill to spare when the rest of the repulsive family arrives for a spot of rejoicing. |
